Beginning as part of the Music and Dance Club in 1990 and having performed in musicals, such as the Pied Piper, the group became formally known as the Temasek Freestylers in 2002. Under the mentorship of Mr Terence Then, the group has performed well in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentations as well as in competitions. Currently, the Temasek Freestylers is 56 members strong.
To inspire students to strive for excellence in dance and be able to express themselves with energy, purpose and perfection.
Training is held twice a week in school. Members learn different dance techniques such as hip-hop, popping and locking.
Perform in school productions such as Once Upon A Time, as well as school events like Speech Day and Open House.
Perform in public performances such as the Singapore Tennis Festival 2018.
Participate in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation as well as in dance competitions such as Super 24.
